Storm-damaged building collapses in Springfield, people possibly trapped

SPRINGFIELD — A line of severe thunderstorms moved through the region Saturday evening, causing a building to collapse in Springfield with reports that people may have been trapped inside, according to Cedar News. Forecasters kept the area under a severe thunderstorm watch into the overnight hours, warning of wind gusts up to 70 mph, hail and frequent lightning.
