Springfield License Commission Directs Misfit Auto to File New Manager Application

Town Board · Meeting of July 22, 2026

Springfield License Commission holds five-minute hearing on manager dispute at Misfit Auto. The Springfield Board of License Commissioners met July 22 and took up a single substantive matter: an informational hearing for Misfit Auto LLC, located at 1567 State Street, after current manager of record Andrea Villegas contacted the license office to say she no longer wanted to be associated with the business. Latrice Atkins appeared and stated her intention to take over as manager of record; commission staff directed her to file a formal change-of-manager application at the license office the following morning.

The board voted 4-0 to take no action, leaving Villegas on the license until the new application is processed. Commissioners Cade, D'Angelo Antonio, Sofranski, and Espinosa each voted yes on all three motions before adjourning unanimously at 5:37 p.m., five minutes after the meeting was called to order.
