The License Commission approved six petitions and issued a violation notice to MVP Auto Sales.
License Commission · Meeting of February 25, 2026
SPRINGFIELD — The License Commission approved six petitions and issued a violation notice to MVP Auto Sales. Commissioners approved Sunday hours for Mamu at 272-278 Worthington Street, an all-alcohol license for District Fusion Lounge next door, a beer and wine license for The Farmers House, a BYOB license for Haya Sushi, and a car dealer license for FDR Auto Sales. Springfield Performing Arts Ventures won approval again after attorney Josh Goldstein explained a confusion over its related nonprofit.
LA Auto Sales was continued to March 25 because of a delayed special permit hearing. The commission voted to issue a notice of violation hearing over a December 10, 2025 incident at MVP, where a buyer said a car's frame collapsed, even though no MVP representative appeared for the second time and a new application had been filed for the same address.
