Other Committee · Meeting of January 28, 2026

Springfield license commissioners approved a manager change and a car dealer license, and continued two matters. The Board of License Commissioners voted 5-0 to change the manager of Ciro's Restaurant, 904-912 Main Street, from Nicholas Bruno to Frank Bruno after a paperwork error forced a second vote. It also approved Class 2 and Class 3 dealer licenses for Brothers Auto Sales and Repair at 93 Wilbraham Road, asking the applicant to forward a neighborhood council letter.

The MVP Auto Sales hearing over a Dec. 10, 2025 incident was continued to Feb. 25 after no one appeared for the business. Mamoo's Sunday hours petition was also continued. Commissioners voted to issue no seasonal alcohol licenses in 2026, citing no seasonal population increase.
