Other Committee · Meeting of September 26, 2026

SPRINGFIELD — The Springfield License Commission re-voted to fix two unseconded approvals from its August meeting. Commissioners corrected procedural gaps in both the August 26, 2026 minutes and a pledge of license and pledge of inventory for Springfield Hospitality, doing business as the Marriott Hotel at 2 Bowling Way, with Patel listed as manager of record. "There was no second in the vote, so we just need to re-vote and make sure there's a second," one commissioner said.

Chair Rosa briefly lost her video connection mid-meeting, rejoining by phone, and later recused herself on the hotel vote. With a commissioner identified only as John absent, the remaining three commissioners, including Commissioner Cade and Commissioner D'Angelo Antonio, confirmed quorum and approved both items unanimously among those voting.
